MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. Mala Influencia, made available in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born in a musical home. His mother and brother were also musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano as a young child. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with a Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
