Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that loved music. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any drama. Her mother teaches her how to sing, however she began more intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. As a student and young professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. After moving from Mexico to America in 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing traditional Latin American Music. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing has her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
